I would best describe my style of photography as simple, yet powerful. At least, that’s what I strive for :-). My goal is to create photos that tell a story…photos that have meaning…photos that make people FEEL something when they look at them. I enjoy taking photographs that are full of emotion. We have all heard the saying, ” a picture is worth a thousand words”.
A photograph is a memory…a statement…a moment in time…a reflection…a story. It is something that will take us back in time. It is something to hang on your wall, something to enjoy, something to appreciate. I have a hard time putting a label on my style of photography. I’m pretty non-traditional. I won’t set you up and pose you perfectly in a studio. I am not a “say cheese” kinda girl. Instead, I will let you be yourself. I try to capture people being people, families being families. Life is real and full of imperfections and that is what I capture. I guess you could say my photographs are perfectly imperfect, just like life. They are real. They are fresh and they are true.
